Congratulations upon finally making it to the end of the school year! Well done!
This summer my family and I will visit South Africa. Quirine and I most look forward to meeting up with our son, Benjamin in beautiful Stellenbosch where he’ll be representing his university in a basketball tournament.
My children are eager to visit their cousins in far-flung Upington and hope to go on their first ever hunting trip! They can’t wait to participate in this South African rite of passage. We’ve also set aside a few days to reconnect with very close friends at their quiet beach house in Gouritz. They now live in Jamaica and we haven’t seen each other for seven years. We can’t wait to hear their stories and share some of our own. We’ve been so blessed here in Taiwan. Our last stop will be Oudtshoorn to touch base with more family and see a few other old friends. Quirine and I used to live and work in a nearby town called George. We have so many good memories of our time there.
I hope you too will spend time with family, reconnect with people you love and enjoy your summer vacation. I’d love to hear about all of your itineraries. Your children worked extremely hard this year and have accomplished a lot. It’s time to celebrate, rest and relax. May I say again that your partnership is invaluable to us. I am so thankful for this community. Please receive this prayer below from all of us here at Morrison Academy.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
