2015 Inductee

Sometimes an athlete makes a big contribution in a very short time. Although Hege Kiplesund was only part of the Morrison athletic program for three years, she made a mark that is still noticed years in the future. A three-sport athlete, Hege showed her strength on the volleyball court. Her power as a hitter and blocker contributed to many wins over rival TAS. Track and Field is where Hege left a lasting mark. At the time of her induction into the Hall of Fame, Hege still held the girls’ high jump record of 1.51m which she set in 1978. Her long jump record stood from 1978 until 2010 when it was broken by another Hall of Famer, Megan Dwight.
