Dan Robinson has had outstanding accomplishments both as a player in the 1970’s and as a coach from 1980’s to the present. In high school, Robinson excelled in 3 sports. Dan’s 1822 points in basketball paced the team to a 93-6 record, including back to back titles at the 1973 and 1974 Hong Kong Holiday Tournament. He was, also, the MVP of 1974’s undefeated soccer team and held the school records in the 200m and 400m for several years. After college, Robinson traded his playing shoes for a coaching whistle. At the year of his induction, Robinson had compiled a varsity basketball record of 194-68 as coach of both the male and female squads. His teams have won two Hong Kong Invitational Championships (1983-1984) and two Class A Far East Championships (1999, 2002). As the men’s coach, he has brought the chopsticks to Taichung six of his eight years.
