Here’s what we’ll be Learning This Week:
Bible – We are studying Lesson 30, about Daniel, who was “excellent in spirit”.
This week’s memory verse is Romans 3:23-24, which says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Language – This week we will take the Developmental Reading Assessment to see how students’ reading skills have improved since the beginning of the year.
Spelling – Blue Group: Sort 32
Pink Group: Sort 55
Yellow Group: Sort 29
Green Group: Sort 19
Math – We’ll practice converting customary units of capacity, create line plots to display measurement data, use metric rulers to measure length, and convert metric units of length.
Science – We’ll learn how the Earth’s revolution affects the seasons and how its orbit affects what we can see of the night sky.
Social Studies – We’ll continue to learn about trails to the West, such as the Oregon Trail, and some of the early American pioneers who traveled on them.
