Today the sixth grade class visited St. Coletta’s Training Center. We were able to work with individuals between the ages of 15-50 years old. The training center has about 160 students, many of whom have jobs in the community.
We were asked to prepare activities that would entertain about fifty of their members. The Morrison students created six activity stations for the participants to rotate to. The first room was dedicated to arts and crafts. We offered coloring and Playdough modeling projects. On the next floor, the students played bowling and ring toss carnival games. On the final level, the St. Colletta students were able to toss beanbags into the mouth of a monster and exhibit their ball throwing abilities.
We ended our day by posing for pictures with our new friends from St. Colletta’s Training center.
