American Football

Masculinity is one of the things attributed to football; but some people forget, that is not the only vibe football gives off. It helps you grow in things such as teamwork, leadership and for many people, it helps you get more in shape. When you first start playing your skills will not be as developed, so you might not be as good as some other players. Do not let that discourage you! I can guarantee if you really try in class, you will be much better at the end of the year.

If you are the type of the person who likes to lead others, then this exploratory will help fine tune your skills. If you are the type of person who might have trouble working with others, this will help you a great amount. Through many scrimmages and working together to create more plays in the game, I can assure that you that you will grow in these ways.

From personal experience, I know that this will be an exploratory you will enjoy and look forward to. For those who love to run, like Josh S. of 8th grade, football is very enjoyable. One of the things he enjoyed was “running with the football, seeing the open expanse of grass and sky and the joy of knowing no one will be catching him and he will score a point.” Here are a few interviews from some people who are in this e-course.

A: I wanted to join American football because it was fun… and you get to tackle people.

A: I felt like I couldn’t wait to get playing.

A: I like going long.

A: We play football in this class.

Q: What makes this class exciting? Why?
A: This class is interesting because like… it’s interesting…??? I don’t know how to describe it. It’s really fun when people pass you the ball.

A: I played it last year and I like it.

A: It was fun and I knew that I would like the class.
