Bio Sketch:

I have spent over half my life in Asia. When I was 8 years old, my family moved to Tianjin, China where we remained for the next five years. We moved again which allowed me to attend Morrison Academy Taichung from 8-12 grade. My mother taught 2nd grade for four years, both of my parents were dorm parents my senior year. After graduating from Coe College, I moved to St. Paul, MN and worked a Christian high school for two years teaching Geography (9th), Western Civilizations (10th), and working as the school's registrar. God led my back to Morrison August 2002 and I have been here since.

Favorite Verses:

Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:11)

Favorite Quotes:

"If loving God with all our heart and soul and might is the greatest commandment, then it follows that not loving Him that way is the greatest sin." R.A. Torrey (1856-1928) "Education may make my self-centeredness less disastrous by widening my horizons. But this is like climbing a tower which widens the horizons of my vision while leaving me still the center of reference. The only way to deliver me from my self-centeredness is by winning my entire heart's devotion, the total allegiance of my will to God -- and this can only be done by the Divine Love of God disclosed by Christ in his life and death." (William Temple (1881-1944))
