College/Grad School Attended:
Truman State University in Kirksville, MO
I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. My dad was a pastor and my mom was a MS/HS Biology teacher. The campus ministry at Truman State University changed my life forever. During those 4 short years, I went from being a believer to a committed follower of Christ, I met my husband, Chad and sensed the Lord's calling to serve the Lord in Taiwan. Chad and I have lived here in Taiwan for 18 years (16 of those in Taipei) as church planters with Team Expansion/Formosa Christian Mission. We have three amazing children. Caitlyn is a senior, Allyson is a freshman and Cole is a 7th grader. I wear many hats in the Morrison community. Besides being a missionary and parent, for the past 10 years, I have had the privilege to serve as a Trustee of Morrison Academy. I am currently serving as the Board Chair. To keep my spirit as youthful as my appearance, I am also the Senior class sponsor. We love Taiwan. It is our home!
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
I believe in being a life long learner so my favorite quote is a Chinese idiom:
