Terry Sergeant

Terry Sergeant, part of the running Sergeant family, made a name for himself by setting Morrison’s record in the 800m run at 2:00.0 in winning the Taichung City Meet in 1985. This record has stood for over 25 years. Running the longer distance of 5000m he is 3rd on Morrison’s all-time list at 17:26.6. Terry, was also an excellent soccer and basketball player, winning the team MVPs his senior year. His excellent midfield play in soccer and team leading rebounds and steals point to his hustle and spirit on the field and court, making him a great representative of Morrison sports in the mid 1980s.
