When one thinks of Paul Buckta’s athletic accomplishments they must think of the word “scoring”. Paul was a scoring machine. He is Morrison Academy’s all-time highest career scorer in basketball with 2184 points in his four year varsity career. He, also, has the highest single season scoring average with 30.25 points per game during his senior year. In soccer, Paul, is the second highest career goal scorer with 45 goals and is 3rd on the single season list with 26 goals during his senior year. Paul was, also, a fine tennis player on Morrison’s tennis team during his junior and senior years and won the MVP award his senior year to go along with his two basketball MVP’s and one soccer MVP. To top it off, he played two years of varsity baseball and one year of track.
