Kris Heinsman was outstanding at every sport she played. She was MVP of volleyball and basketball in both her junior and senior years. She lead the basketball team in scoring during her final two seasons, placing her in the top 10 on the all time list with 618 points. The team which Kris captained her senior year had two Morrison firsts: an undefeated season (16-0) and the first ever women’s Hong Kong Invitational Championship. Kris also won the city meet twice at 400m. At the time of her induction Kris’ record 400 meter time of 62.4 seconds, set in 1975, was the longest standing track record to date.
